Post Holiday Reorientation

My textbook has arrived, and I've already begun reading it. This term is the Intro class that I should have taken before last quarter's class. I did okay, in the end, but had a hurdle with the unfamiliar terminology. This quarter should get a better foundation under me.

I'm also hoping to get an idea exactly what type of job I should be looking for next. Right now, I'm treading water as an RT. (Or sinking, at a pediatric hospital with RSV season firmly established).

I'm really very ready to be a 9-5 sort of person, although 3 twelves a week will get the 3 year old DD established in preschool a little more gradually.

I don't have kids but I will say the three 12's really rocks. I sat on 5 evenings a week for a year before giving up the ghost and going to 12 hour nights and now I wish I'd done it earlier. It's amazing how much more I get done.

Just my 2 cents thrown in for your consideration. :-) Or not.

Always considering what other's have to say--otherwise I'd be talking to myself, huh?

I did 12's when I was single, and for a while after marriage. On nights. Was pretty much a mess on nights. Right now, I've been part time, 3 8-hour eves a week. The biggest thing has been sleep deprivation. And the age of the kids. Now that the youngest is potty trained, reasonably verbal, and occasionally able to keep herself entertained, I've been getting a few things done. Once I start days, she'll be in preschool, so I'll have some days off where I'll have the house to myself, and some silence.

I'm envisioning great plans!
